I find myself backstage at the Chateau de La Colle Noire, about 40 minutes from Cannes, the location of tonight’s Miss Dior dinner.

The Chateau is Christian Dior’s former residence, and it is here where he got the inspiration for his wonderful fragrances.

It was his haven of peace, where he could withdraw and quietly enjoy its surrounding tranquility.

And it makes so much sense: this place is magical, and I never want to leave.

It is only 11 in the morning, everything smells like freshly harvested flowers. There is a fountain in the middle of the fish pond/swimming pool.

The place feels warm and welcoming, an oasis far away from the frantic hustle and bustle of Paris and Avenue Montaigne, an island amidst gardens and flower beds.

Today I am behind the camera instead of in front of it – a very different experience!

I am assisting the video guy and snapping some videos for Dior‘s lnstagram story… I like it J

What an environment to be working in, it is such a privilege to see all the nooks and corners of this gorgeous and majestic place.

When the evening falls, guests start arriving. They have come from everywhere.

Natalie Portman is here with her husband, photographer David Bellemere; there are a lot of models and influencers, agents and French actors.

A colorful crowd of beautiful people.

And there is this question in the air… “And you, what would you do for love?“ 😉
